Video Interview Tips

When interviews are held over the phone or via Video (Teams/ Zoom/Skype)

✅ What To Do:

👔 Wear appropriate clothes
🤫 Be in a quiet place
🐕 Have no distractions
🪑 Stay in the same spot during the call
📱 Place the phone/ tablet/ computer on a desk away from you
🧕🏻Make sure there’s a clear view of your full face, and shoulders
💻 Test the connection before the call is due to start


❌ What Not to Do:

🥋Do them in your pyjamas
🗣️ Have the TV on or other people around you talking
🚷 Move around from room to room
🤳Hold the phone like a selfie
👃🏼 Show the interviewer a direct view up your nostrils
⌛️ Wait until the interview time to test the call link
